About Anastasia Goitia-DeGroote - A Triumvirate of Creativity (Editor, Writer, Artist)

Because I love to do all three, I used to own a business (Graphicomm) where I wrote, designed, and edited promotional materials for small businesses. I gave it up to raise a family and help my entrepreneurial husband, but have since gone back to my roots of enjoying all three - a triumvirate - of creativity, in addition to volunteering and speaking at local art classes, conferences, and more.

Editor:

As a young woman, I wrote articles for ten+ years for marketing companies and a family-owned eatery. I also owned a graphic design/marketing company called Graphicomm, making $175/hour. Raising two children with rare medical needs, I sold my high-stress business.

I met three lovely ladies on their way to getting published and enjoyed editing their books, helping them become New York Times Best-Sellers.  I also wrote five of my own novels and am published in an anthology. With a Master's in Education, I taught English, Creative Writing, Social Studies, Career Enhancement, Edgenuity, and Cross-Content Art to at-risk teens.

My true roots are in editing, and I'm back to helping people bring out the best in their stories to get published. I have experience in Cozy Mystery, Mystery Series, Romantic Comedy, Science Fiction, Dystopian, Sci Fi Romance, Women's Fiction, Comedy Fiction, Magical Reality, Middle Grade Fiction, Horror, and more.

Writer:

I have written there national award-winning contemporary single title novels (mystery/romance), three additional full-length manuscripts, one middle grade sci-fi series, and one middle grade fantasy series. I am actively seeking representation.

Artist: My first one-man show was at the Foothills Art Gallery when I was seventeen in Golden, Colorado long ago. I won a Regional Hallmark Honor Prize, a Golden Key National Art Award, and other art honors throughout my life. I was given an art honor scholarship to attend the University of Denver, and worked three jobs throughout my college career (including writing, editing, and graphic design) to survive. I am most proud of the fact that I survived a very troubled life by drawing, painting, editing, and writing.  My specialties are pen and ink, watercolor, oil, pastels, and graphic design.

Contact: I'm often in my editing/writing/artistic 'cave', so please leave a message or text me if you need a quick response:  480-703-5612, scgoitia@gmail.com
